The domestic production technology and equipment of hot-dip galvanized steel sheets for high-performance automobiles currently mainly rely on introducing advanced foreign technologies. Only Baosteel has conducted some product-specific research on the production and development of automobile sheets and other imports for high-performance automobiles. As the earliest domestic research unit to enter the field of continuous hot-dip galvanizing of steel strips, the Central Iron and Steel Research Institute assisted WISCO in introducing and digesting the first domestic hot-dip galvanizing unit in the 1970s.
